What is a Hair Spa in Genoa?
At Atelier CDC Genoa, the Hair Spa is not an add-on treatment at the end of your appointment: it is a journey of its own, designed to care for the scalp and hair fibre in depth, not just their outward appearance. The concept, presented under the YNSÉ brand of Degradé Conseil, captures exactly this idea of a tailored sensorial experience — a moment when hair care becomes a moment of relaxation too.
Every hair spa takes place in the salon's dedicated cabin, divided between the Kérastase line and the Shu Uemura line — the latter featuring a reclining, massaging bed for a more ceremonial experience. The choice between the two is always made during the consultation, based on your hair type.
The treatments
The four rituals, in detail.
Relaxant
The most essential ritual: shampoo — sometimes double —, a masque or treatment chosen for the day's need, plus a third product applied before drying, such as a heat protector, anti-frizz or serum. The ideal starting point for those who want an immediate benefit without a long time commitment.
Express
Shampoo followed by Fusio-Dose, the signature treatment combining a concentrate and a booster chosen for the hair's primary and secondary needs. Its molecules are smaller than those of a traditional masque, so they penetrate deeper, with a visible effect that lasts up to four weeks.
Intense
Adds to the base routine a dedicated scalp treatment — scrub or deep cleansing — together with the restructuring masque: the right choice when hair needs more than surface nourishment.
Unique
A true reconstruction, available in several variants: the Kérastase Première and Extension treatments, the Redken Metal Detox rebuild and the Chronologiste line, designed as anti-ageing care for hair. It is the longest and most complete journey — massages and successive layers of product — for very stressed hair or for those seeking the best in wellbeing as well as results.
How long it lasts
From half an hour to almost two hours.
YNSÉ rituals involve 5 to 20 minutes of processing time, plus cleansing, massage and drying: in practice a hair spa can last from half an hour to almost two hours for the Unique ritual. During your consultation we'll tell you the exact length of the recommended journey.
