Degradé Conseil in Genoa: the vertical colouring made to measure.
Natural colour doesn't exist. Well-executed colour does. Atelier CDC is an authorised Degradé Conseil Centre in the heart of Genoa: the Degradé isn't a technique we learnt, it's one we helped spread across Italy. It works on hair vertically, strand by strand, creating natural, luminous shades as unique as the person wearing them.
What it is
A colour applied vertically, strand by strand, which lightens, tones and restructures at once: no horizontal regrowth line, natural shading on blonde, brown and white hair.
Price and timing
From 130 € (Degradé Conseil Short) up to 170 € for longer hair; regrowth upkeep starts at 35 €. The exact price and timing are agreed during the free consultation.
Where and how often
At Atelier CDC, Piazza Brignole 5/6, in central Genoa — Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00-18:00. The full degradé is repeated every 3-4 months, with an intermediate upkeep after about a month.

What it is
What is vertical colouring Degradé.
Unlike traditional colouring, which works horizontally, covering the whole head uniformly, Degradé Conseil selects fine vertical strands and works them one by one.
The result is a multidimensional colour, with delicate transitions between roots and lengths, and no sharp regrowth lines.
Benefits
Why choose the Degradé.
Three months without a thought.
The vertical shading makes regrowth almost invisible: no roots, no monthly touch-ups, no rushing back. Over time, it costs less than you'd think.
Covers white hair without looking covered.
Up to 100% of white hair, blended in harmony with you — not hidden. Flat colour ages you; the degradé works with the light, never against your face.
Restructures while it colours.
The products treat the hair fibre during the service: it is among the most hair-friendly methods available.
Holds up in any light.
Photos, video, HD lighting, real life: a multidimensional colour that stays believable without filters.
Tailored, always.
The colour is born in consultation: matched to your complexion, your style, your life. Never a "one size fits all" colour.
For every hair type
Suited to you, always.
Degradé on blonde hair
Luminous, natural lightening, from cool blondes to honey tones, without a dated "sun-kissed highlights" effect.
Degradé on brunette hair
Warm hazelnut, caramel or chocolate tones that add depth and movement to brunette hair.
Long hair and short hair
On long hair, the Degradé enhances length with progressive shading; on short cuts it creates refined contrast and makes regrowth easier to manage. Either way, the technique adapts to the cut — never the other way round.

Frequently asked questions
The most sought-after answers.
What's the difference between degradé and balayage?+
Balayage is a freehand lightening technique; Degradé Conseil is a complete vertical colouring method that can lighten, darken, tone and cover white hair, all while restructuring the hair.
How long does the degradé last?+
Thanks to the softened regrowth effect, the result stays harmonious for a long time. If you have no white hair, the degradé can last up to 6 months. Where there is a lot of white hair, we offer mini, medium or maxi maintenance plans to cover it at the root. During your consultation, we'll define together the frequency and plan best suited to you.
Does the degradé damage hair?+
No: it is carried out with excellent products that treat the hair fibre during colouring. It is among the most hair-friendly methods available.
How much does a degradé cost in Genoa?+
The price depends on length, starting base and desired result: the Degradé starts from 120€. This is why every journey begins with a free, personalised consultation.
